The Zaxcom DCiRX represents a next-generation "Swiss Army Knife" for audio professionals. It bridges the gap between a high-end wireless receiver, a redundant field recorder, and a digital audio interface, all within a rugged, pocket-sized chassis.

RF Performance & Interference Rejection
The DCiRX is built around Narrow Band Direct Conversion technology. This allows the device to remain operative and crystal clear even when surrounded by heavy RF traffic from cell phones, walkie-talkies, and 2.4 GHz devices.

Precision Filtering: A tunable tracking front-end filter allows users to select specific bands in 1 MHz increments, effectively rejecting unwanted signals.

Dropout Compensation: Zaxcom’s proprietary digital compensator intelligently reconstructs missing audio data, ensuring production-ready continuity.

Advanced 4-Track Recording
The internal 4-track recorder is a game-changer for reliability. By recording in 32-bit float or 24-bit fixed to a microSD card, it captures every nuance without the risk of digital clipping.

ISO & Automix: It captures up to 3 ISO tracks plus 1 automix track with embedded SMPTE timecode.

Redundancy: It can record internally while simultaneously outputting wireless audio, providing a fail-safe backup for mission-critical takes.

Connectivity and Integration
USB-C Audio Interface: For modern creators, the DCiRX acts as a professional 4-channel interface for laptops and mobile devices. It features a high-quality mic preamp with 48V Phantom Power, ideal for high-end podcasting or streaming directly into a DAW.

Workflow Flexibility: Whether used as a "Camera Hop" (delivering audio/timecode to a camera via TA5), an IFB receiver for directors, or a "Plant Mic" hidden in a vehicle, the DCiRX adapts to any production environment.

Build and Power Management
Designed for the rigors of the field, it features an OLED screen for intuitive navigation and locking 3.5mm jacks for headphones and timecode to prevent accidental disconnection.

Power Efficiency: It runs on 3 standard AA batteries (yielding up to 7 hours with Li-Ion) or can be powered via USB-C, ensuring the device is always ready to go without waiting for internal batteries to charge.
