The Zoom SSH-6e is a mid-side stereo shotgun microphone designed to capture direct sound and ambience in exquisite detail. With precise control over the stereo image, you can record hyper-directional audio while mixing in exactly as much environmental sound as you desire.

Mid-Side Stereo Configuration
Mid-side stereo is an advanced technique that allows you to adjust the stereo width of your recording. The Mid (center) microphone captures direct sound, while the Side microphone captures an extremely wide stereo image. Adjust them to achieve your perfect mix, or record in RAW mode to decide on the stereo width during post-production.

Capsule System 3.0
The SSH-6e utilizes Zoom’s Capsule System 3.0. This new connector ensures a stable connection and enables 32-bit float recording.
