The RØDE VideoMic Pro is the industry-standard shotgun microphone for vloggers, filmmakers, and content creators. The VideoMic Pro integrates the Rycote Lyre suspension system, which significantly reduces noise caused by camera movement and mechanical vibrations. The 0.5-inch condenser capsule with super-cardioid polar pattern provides high-quality directional audio, focusing on subjects in front of the camera while reducing ambient noise from the sides and rear.
The microphone includes a two-position high-pass filter (Flat or 80 Hz) to minimize background noise such as traffic and air conditioning units. The three-position gain control (-10 dB, 0 dB, +20 dB boost) ensures optimal recording levels in any situation. Powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery, it offers over 70 hours of continuous operation.
