The Audioroot eSMART TINY-C is an ultra-compact smart battery charger designed for Audioroot eSMART (Li-xxWh and NEO) series lithium batteries. It functions by connecting a USB-C Programmable Power Supply (PPS) source directly to the battery, utilizing PPS protocol to deliver customized, real-time power regulation.

Core Functionality
Unlike standard USB-PD chargers that rely on fixed voltage steps (e.g., 5V, 9V, 15V, 20V), the TINY-C leverages PPS to continuously request fine-grained voltage and current adjustments from the connected power supply. The device reads the battery's internal dynamic parameters and communicates back to the USB-C PPS source to adapt the charging curve in real time.
The TINY-C only charges — it never discharges.
If your battery’s current SoC is already above your set limit (e.g., 60 % with a 30 % limit), the TINY-C will ???? stop charging immediately and will not lower the battery’s charge. The battery remains at its present level until used or charged again.
Power supply requirements
A USB-PD 3.0+ PPS-compatible USB-C power supply is required to operate the TINY-C. It will not work with standard USB-C PD that only delivers fixed profiles (5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 20 V). Note that some smaller USB-C chargers, although PPS-compatible, only cover a lower voltage range (e.g., 3.3–6.0 V) — these are not compatible with the TINY-C, as it requires the PPS voltage to go up to 20.0 V to operate. The TINY-C has been mainly tested with 65 W+ USB-C PPS power supplies. You can run 2 × TINY-C from a single USB-C PPS power supply/charger, but we recommend a 200 W+ supply in that case. For best compatibility and fastest charging, choose a 100 W+ USB-C PPS PSU. Stay tuned for firmware updates that will expand compatibility.
